纽卡斯尔大学近两年是相当争气，QS世界大学排名已经大幅上升，从2021年的世界第152名，上升至2023年的世界第122名。
在泰晤士高等教育世界大学排名（THE）中也是连续三年排名上升，从2021年的世界第178名，上升至2023年的世界第139名。
纽卡斯尔大学今年的申请热度也非常高，到目前为止已经有很多专业提前关闭，但是近期学校新开了4门课程，而且都是大热的商科方向。
